How eVolume is generated
The eVolume (eV) generated by the use of the card will be calculated monthly as follows:
-
Regular eV
Approximately 1.0 eV per RM 330 (or approx. 0.10 eV per RM 33) spent on the card will be awarded on all purchases made at non-partner merchant establishments after the Boosted Initial eV offer has been exhausted. See Calculation Formulas. -
Partner Merchant eV
The eV generated when you use the card to purchase from an eCosway Partner Merchant (see www.partnermerchants.com for more details) will vary according to the commission percentage offered to eCosway. For example, if the Partner Merchant gives us the recommended 10%, the eV given to the cardholder will be:-
Approximately 2.7 eV per RM 100 spent on the card (or approximately 0.27 eV per RM 10). (If the commission rate is lower, the eV will be lower too.) See Calculation Formulas.
-
-
Boosted Initial eV:
This eV will be awarded during the first 6 months of card usage or on the first RM 2500 spent on the card (whichever comes first) at Non-Partner and Partner Merchants.-
Approximately 0.9 eV per RM 100 (or approx. 0.09 eV per RM 10) spent on the card at non-partner establishments. See Calculation Formulas.
-
For card spending at partner establishments, the Boosted Initial eV will be awarded according to the commission rate given by the Partner Merchant to eCosway . See Calculation Formulas.
After the Boosted Initial eV offer is exhausted, each purchase earns either Partner Merchant eV or Regular eV (not both).
-
Please Note: Cash advances, balance transfers, bank charges and fees levied on the eCC will not earn eV or CVPs.

Summary
| For the first RM 2500 or first 6 months (whichever comes first) of your eCC spending, you will earn Boosted Initial eV: | |
| For non-partner transactions | Approx. 0.9 eV per RM 100 |
| For Partner Merchant transactions | Approx. 3.3 eV per RM 100 (based on 10% commission given to eCosway) |
| For eCC spending AFTER RM 2500 or the first 6 months (whichever comes first), you will earn: | |
| For non-partner transactions | Approx. 1 eV per RM 330 (Regular eV) |
| For Partner Merchant transactions | Approx. 2.7 eV per RM 100 (based on 10% commission given to eCosway) (Partner Merchant eV) |
Calculation formulas
Regular eV
(X x 0.7 x 100%) ÷ 3.7÷ 60% = eV for X
X = Total regular (non-partner merchant) transaction value
How we derived the figure in the example:
(RM 330 x 0.7% x 100%) ÷ 3.7÷ 60% = 1.040 eV (Approximately 1 eV)
Partner Merchant eV
(Y x Commission rate for Y x 60%) ÷ 3.7÷ 60% = eV for Y
Y = Total partner merchant transaction value
How we derived the figure in the example:
(RM 100 x 10% x 60%) ÷ 3.7÷ 60% = 2.702 eV (Approximately 2.7 eV)
Boosted Initial eV
Boosted Initial eV = Regular ÷ Partner Merchant eV + Extra eV
(Z x 1.4% x 100%) ÷ 3.7÷ 60% = eV for Z)
Z = Total transaction value (assuming transaction qualifies for Boosted Initial eV)
How we derived the figure in the example:
For spending at Non-Partner establishments:Regular eV for RM 100 + Extra eV for RM 100 = Boosted Initial eV for RM 100
[(RM 100 x 0.7% x 100%) + (RM100 x 1.4% x 100%)] ÷ 3.7÷ 60% = 0.946 eV (Approximately 0.9 eV)
Example for spending at Partner Merchants (assuming commission rate = 10%):
Partner merchant eV for RM 100 + Extra eV for RM 100 = Boosted Initial eV for RM 100
[(RM 100 x 10% x 60%) + (RM100 x 1.4% x 100%)] ÷ 3.7÷ 60%
= 3.333 eV (Approximately 3.3 eV)
