How to earn CVPs

Based on your monthly* credit card expenditure, you get:

• 1 CVP for every RM100 spent at a Non-Partner Merchant
  
• 2 CVPs for every RM100 spent at a Partner Merchant. (see www.partnermerchants.com for more details)

Example

If your billing statement shows that you spent RM 550 at non-Partner Merchants and RM 450 at Partner Merchants, you will receive 5 CVPs and 8 CVPs respectively, giving you a total of 13 CVPs for that month*.

Please Note: Cash advances, balance transfers, bank charges and fees levied on the eCC will not earn eV or CVPs.

*Your CVPs are calculated for the period from the 11th of the month to the 10th of the next month.

How to utilize CVPs

CVPs can be used to:

• Purchase a wide range of Cosway’s Great Redemption products at a discount offline
  
  Business Owners who are cardholders are allowed to purchase Cosway Redemption products using CVPs earned from eCC transactions. This applies to certain sections of the latest Cosway Great Redemption booklet. To add to your shopping convenience, we have come up with a special feature called the CVP Advance.
  
• Purchase products at greatly discounted Value Buy prices online
  
  The Value Point (VP) and Card Value Point (CVP) programs are separate shopper rewards programs and are mutually exclusive. However, you can use CVPs to purchase Value Buy products in the main shopping mall (which are indicated with a red "VP") and in the Exclusive Values Mall, ONLY IF you do not have any or enough VPs. This means that the system will first check for VPs in your account for the purchase, but if there is none, the system will then check for CVPs and take them for the purchase instead.

Example

Mr. J has 1 VP and 2 CVPs He tries to buy a Value Buy product from the Exclusive Values Mall, which requires 2 VPs. The system will take his 1 VP and as this is insufficient, it will then take 1 CVP from his account. Mr. J now has 0 VP and 1 CVP.

• Bid for exciting products in the CVP luxury auction mall online

  You can use your CVPs to bid for fantastic products like Rolex timepieces, travel packages, cruises, home appliances and many more, in this special auction exclusive to the credit card program. Please note that Value Points (VPs) and Card Value Points (CVPs) are derived from separate shopper rewards programs, and are mutually exclusive i.e. VPs cannot be converted to CVPs and used for the CVP auction and vice-versa.

To check how many CVPs you have

*Your CVPs are calculated for the period from the 11th of the month to the 10th of the next month. There are two ways you can check your CVP amount for this period:

1. Online – Your CVPs for the stipulated period will be reflected in your account on the 16th of the next month.
2. Bonus Statement – Your CVPs earned, redeemed and CVP net balance for the period will be included in next month’s bonus statement.

Example

You can check your CVPs earned from your credit card spending from June 11th to July 10th online from July 16th onwards. The summary of your CVPs for this period will be displayed in your July Bonus Statement.
